Strategy Consultation
White Light Web - We'll help you create the Request for Proposal. We start with meetings to understand your goals, your position in the market, and your audience. Through our creative consultation process, we create the tone, look and feel and style guidelines for the site. By comparing and contrasting your competitors’ online representation we create solutions for better positioning through competitive analysis. User research reaches your target users expectations, and the final summaries of the discovery process act as a blueprint for your information requirements.
Visual Look and Feel
White Light Web - We'll make you look good. With the blueprints in hand, we can now design the look and feel of the website. We look at the User Interface using wireframes. Like architectural drawings for the layout of your house, wireframes are the visual representation of content positioning on a website. We work out the design layout, color, and any product presentation by fine-tuning until the look and feel of the website is just right. Development of the multi-page template structures allows for scalability. Then based on the final structure we generate the Site Map as a requirement in Extensible Markup Language (XML) for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google listings. The final design data is then backed-up to CD.
Use Cases and Scalability
White Light Web - We'll help you scale the mountain of content. We determine the scalability of your website partly by Use Case and Page Flows. By using Unified Modeling Language (UML) it is possible to demonstrate the functionality of a website on paper. Decision-making provided by a system in terms of actors and their goals represented as use cases, and any dependencies. This structural analysis includes discussion of implementing the best website possible within the parameters of a scalable architecture. Analysis of page load and real-time user input frame the discussion as software solutions are evaluated depending on requirements in terms of a Stateless, and asynchronous web services, like eBay, or N-Tier, like many e-commerce websites. Most multi-tier architecture consists of three layers, the web design or skin, the logic tier, or how the user gets from page (a) to page (b) and the database. We can integrate multiple sources, so content (what you provide) comes into play in terms of future development and maintenance. We consider Cards and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) for mobile sites depending on if you want a companion mobile site and the type of application utilized.
